Growing up, after Sunday night church during the summer, we would stop at Dairy Queen. My favorite was a vanilla cone dipped into chocolate that hardened almost immediately. Simple summer pleasures.
Looking at the pictures is making me hungry. I recently embarked on a 28 day detox. In the middle of summer. But I am feeling so much better that I am resisting all the fruits of summer, for now!
You however, can create your own Magic Shell and use frozen Greek yogurt instead of ice cream. The sauce is just chocolate with a little coconut oil. I think both kids and adults will love creating their own ice cream bar.
Melt the chocolate and oil in the microwave, stir and dip! Have bowls of nuts, sprinkles and coconut to dip the bars in. In 10 minutes you have a custom ice cream bar for your summer gatherings!
